Multi-awarded artist and Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden drops his first EP album under GMA Music entitled Chapters. The Clash alumnus boasts that two of the songs included in the EP are his own compositions:  “Our Love” (theme song of the Heart Evangelista-starrer “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon”) and “Pwede Pa Ba” (theme song of the Thai series, “Bad Romeo”).

The album’s carrier single is Garrett’s revival of Kris Lawrence’s song, “Ikaw Pala.”

Garett says “Ikaw Pala is actually a Kris Lawrence song which was a hit in the early 2000’s. Yes I want to have the opportunity to do TV, more theater productions. I want to explore more genres, because music preference of people change too. I want to do dance even if I have two left feet. My album title is Chapters. I would say if I were in one of those chapters, my newest single talks more about my life now. Seeing the purpose of what I’m looking for, my passion, what I love to do and share, it’s what I want to pursue and want to realize, to not hold back and have a much clearer vision of what I want to do in music.”

Garrett further added that his new album is like a “book that talks about love from different people.”

“Chapters” contains five songs that show Garrett’s journey in music and life. It includes the previously released singles “Lilipad Na,” “Handa Na Maghintay,” “Our Love,” and “Pwede Pa Ba.”

After his successful “Miss Saigon” stint in Guam late last year, Garrett will try hosting next as he will be in charge for the online stream of “The Clash 2023,” the hit reality singing competition which is slated to return for a brand new season very soon on GMA Network.
