Kapuso’s OST Princess Hannah Precillas has recently released her new single – “Sa Aking Daigdig” that was originally sang by Ms Sharon Cuneta and composed by multi-awarded songwriter Vehnee Saturno.

The modern take of this ballad song immediately climbed to the fourth spot on iTunes Philippines chart and has also been included in Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist during its release on March 17. 

Though she found doing this revival a challenge for this to have a fresh take and be appreciated by this generation, she put her trust with GMA Music and appreciated the collaboration with the team. She’s very happy with the creative freedom she gets from Sparkle management and that she felt that her inputs and vision for her career is highly considered.

She describes the “daigdig” she’s in right now as something that’s full of love especially from her peers in Queendom to whom she shares her success and the ones that got to provide first feedback of her new single.

She hopes that her version of “Sa Aking Daigdig” will somehow inspire others arrangers and songwriters to have a modern take on classic songs.

Apart from her new single, she’s currently seen in All Out Sundays and Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.
