From Henchman to Daughter’s Redemption: Nadine Lustre Shines in “Roadkillers”

The Much-Anticipated Viva-Produced Series Hits Screens on Viva One

In the upcoming action-thriller series “Roadkillers,” Nadine Lustre stars as Stacey Sunico, a daughter trying to make amends for the past trouble she caused her doting and forgiving mechanic father Nato, portrayed by Bodjie Pascua. As the series unfolds, Stacey discovers her father’s secret life as a henchman for a corrupt politician.

Under the direction of Rae Red, “Roadkillers” originally premiered on Prime Video in November 2023. The series now gears up for its much-awaited premiere on Viva One, starting March 1, 2024.

Gawad Urian Best Director Rae Red (Babae at Baril) shared that she’s always wanted to create a story that would revolve around a car, and “ROADKILLERS”, which she also co-wrote with Pam Miras, is the realization of that concept. It evolved from a movie to a mini-series filled with car chase and fight scenes, all to give the audience that adrenaline rush.

From dashing Hiro Juarez, Viva One audience will see a different Jerome Ponce as he plays a mysterious young man named Marco.

Playing Stacey’s father, Nato, is veteran actor Bodjie Pascua. Up to the time of his death, he owned an automobile repair shop. He used to be the right-hand man of the town mayor until they had a falling out.

Francis Magundayao plays Jairus who works for Stacey’s father. He and Stacey are like brother and sister. Being close to her also means being close to danger.

Fans of Lustre and the action-thriller genre can look forward to this exciting new series, which combines elements of drama, suspense, and high-octane action.
