The Powerhouse Singer to Share the Stage with Male Music Champions

Katrina Velarde, known for her exceptional vocal range and captivating stage presence, is set to showcase her versatility as she takes on a variety of musical genres with her own signature twist that will connect to her fans from all generations.

Katrina, the Gen Z Singing Icon, takes center stage in her highly anticipated solo concert entitled “ZCON.” The event is scheduled to take place on April 13, 2024, at 8:00 PM, at the prestigious Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.

Adding excitement and fun to the evening, are Kat’s four male guests, each a singing champion in his own right. These guests are Khimo Gumatay, JM Yosures, Reiven Umali, and Sam Mangubat.

Katrina is gearing up for her highly anticipated comeback concert, marking her return to the stage after a four-year hiatus. During the mediacon held at MyeongDong Korean Gastropub QC, Katrina opened up about the pressure and excitement she feels as she prepares to wow audiences once again. But she’s embracing it as she believes that it will make her a better performer.

Katrina, known as “Asia’s Vocal Supreme”, has had a remarkable career in the music industry, starting at a young age and achieving notable success in various talent competitions.

She was also part of the “New Born Divas” which was part of Talentadong Pinoy’s Hall of Famer. She later on auditioned as a solo singer in “The X Factor Philippines” in 2012 and became part of A.K.A Jam, a group mentored by Gary Valenciano. 

The Suklay Diva, known for her viral video covering Beyonce’s “Dangerously In Love” with a plastic comb as her microphone, has skyrocketed to fame and caught the attention of music industry celebrities such as Chris Brown and Beyonce’s musical director Bibi McGill.

Her influence has reached far and wide, including Hong Kong, California and New Jersey. Currently, she continues to share her expertise as a guest hurado in Tawag ng Tanghalan of It’s Showtime, captivating audiences with her insightful commentary and deep understanding of music as a whole.

The “ZCon” Concert is directed by David Bhowie C. with the creative direction of Vince Apostol.
