The beauty industry has seen a significant shift in attitudes towards cosmetic procedures, particularly nose enhancements. Anna Magkawas, the Founder and CEO of Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group, recently shared her personal journey with rhinoplasty, sparking a conversation about self-confidence and body positivity.

As more celebrities and influencers openly discuss their own experiences with rhinoplasty, the stigma surrounding the procedure is slowly diminishing. Positive feedback from those who have undergone rhinoplasty is abundant, with many expressing an increase in self-confidence and overall satisfaction with their new look.

“More than 1 yr ko na tong pinag-iisipan talaga pero takot ako. Takot ako na baka hindi bumagay sakin, na baka hindi maganda ang kalabasan. Until nakameet ako ng ilang mga friends na nagpa-enhance ng mga nose nila at nakita ko talaga yung big difference sa looks nila, at nainspire ako at nakakuha ng lakas ng loob. I feel like kailangan ko sya para mas maboost yung self confidence ko especially I am in the beauty industry,” Ms Anna shared.

“I’m overwhelmed with the positive feedback na narereceive ko sa mga tao. Nakakahappy kasi tinanggap nila yung bagong ako. Sabi ko naman sa kanila na nabago man yung looks ko pero ako parin to.”

However, not everyone is supportive of this change, and some individuals continue to criticize those who choose to undergo nose enhancement. Despite this, Anna is embracing her decision, acknowledging that her choice to undergo rhinoplasty was a personal one, driven by a desire to boost her self-esteem and feel more confident in her own skin.

For Ms Anna, the response from her family and friends was both surprising and inspiring. After undergoing the procedure, she found that not only did her loved ones show unexpected enthusiasm, but many were also inspired to consider making similar changes themselves.

“Nagulat sila pero masaya. Yung asawa ko feeling nya ibang babae ako.
Mga friends and relatives ko na-inspire. Ang daming nag-memessage na magpapaayos narin dw sila ng mga ilong nila.” she revealed.

When asked about her message to others considering the same procedure, she emphasized the importance of careful consideration and readiness, both financially and emotionally.

“Pagisipang mabuti a thousand times kasi hindi mo na mababalik yung dati once nagalaw na yan. Do it for yourself at dapat buo ang loob mo.”

In the next months, more Luxe products will be released to the market.
