Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna Unveils Miss Manila 2024 Finalists in Sashing Ceremony

In a formal sashing ceremony held at Manila City Hall, Mayor Honey Lacuna unveiled the 24 finalists, each representing different districts across the city. The diverse group of contestants showcased their beauty, talent, and intelligence as they were formally introduced to the public.
The upcoming Miss Manila 2024 pageant promises to be a thrilling competition, with each finalist bringing her unique charm and charisma to the stage. The diverse group of candidates brings a wide range of talents and backgrounds to the table, promising an exciting showcase of beauty and brains. Among the standout candidates are Trina Martinez (Abad Santos), Victoria Isabella Bobier (Arlegui), Mikaela Rachell Orense (Arroceros), Lienel Navidad (Dagupan), Dindi Dianne Gibaga (Don Bosco), Jubilee Therese Acosta (Espana), Jeriza Uy (Gagalangin), Shefally Daime Valencia (Gastambide), Mary Angela Lim (Labores), Sandra Moustafa (Legarda), Sunshine Gabuat (Malate), Leean Jame Santos (Manuguit), Trisha Rosales (Morayta), Imee Soyangco (New Panaderos), Sofia Nina Cornejo (Otis), Charyzah Esparrago (Old Sta. Mesa), Jasmine Paguio (Paco), Estephanie Ladignon (Pandacan), Ednalyn Gunio (Quiapo), Christine Banzon (Sampaloc), Amanda-Kay Rhodes (San Andres), Xena Ramos (Sta. Ana), Aliya Rohilla (Sta. Cruz), and Daniella Mazen Moustafa (Tayuman).

The chosen finalists emerged from a rigorous selection process that included campus visits across Manila facilitated by Cream Silk Hair Care Institute and Karen Agustin-Ostrea, Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2002, who imparted valuable insights during personality development sessions. Over 100 qualified applicants vied for the coveted spots, evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising Michelle Arceo, 2nd runner-up of Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023; Gerry Diaz of Aces and Queens; Rodgil Flores of Kagandahang Flores; Tita Lavinia of Titas of Pageantry; and Charlie Duñgo from the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila.
In preparation for the grand coronation night scheduled for June 22 at the Metropolitan Theater, the finalists will undergo intensive training in personality development, pasarela, and Q&A mentoring. The event promises to be a spectacular affair, featuring Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray as host and special performances by surprise guests, with a delayed telecast on GMA Network the following day, June 23.

The Miss Manila pageant, a collaborative effort between the City of Manila, the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila, and KreativDen Entertainment, aims to highlight and empower women who embody leadership qualities and contribute positively to the cultural richness of Manila.
The culmination of the event will be marked by an awards night at the Metropolitan Theater on June 11, where accolades such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Actress will be presented.
