Congressman Sam Verzosa Auctions Luxury Cars for Charity

Proceeds from the auction will fund dialysis and diagnostic centers across Manila.

In an inspiring act of philanthropy, Congressman Sam Verzosa has announced the auction of 10 luxury vehicles, hoping to raise over 200 million pesos for the establishment of dialysis and diagnostic centers across several key areas in Manila, including Sampaloc, Sta. Ana, Pandacan, Quiapo, Tondo, and Intramuros. Featured in his exclusive collection are high-end brands such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, McLaren, Maserati, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, and Mercedes Benz.

Verzosa, who initially shared this initiative during a television interview, has consistently reiterated his commitment to this cause, aiming to hold himself accountable to his constituents and the public. “I have been blessed way beyond my wildest dreams, and it brings me joy to pay it forward,” he expressed during the “Driven to Heal” charity event at Frontrow Headquarters in Quezon City. This sentiment echoes his past philanthropic efforts, including the establishment of a bone marrow transplant facility and roving pharmacies that provide free essential medications.

As the Tutok To Win Party-List Representative gears up for his campaign in the upcoming Manila mayoralty elections, he remains focused on serving the community. With no running mate in sight, he emphasizes the importance of engaging with the people directly, stating, “Wala akong vice mayor. Meron o wala, ang kailangan ko ay ang tao.”

Verzosa’s girlfriend, actress Rhian Ramos, has been a steadfast supporter, joining him in various outreach activities whenever possible. Together, they symbolize a modern approach to public service—combining celebrity influence with genuine community engagement.

This auction not only reflects Verzosa’s dedication to enhancing healthcare access in underprivileged areas but also showcases a growing trend among public figures who leverage their resources for philanthropic causes. As this visionary initiative unfolds, it stands to make a significant impact on the lives of many in Manila.
