GTV is gearing up for an exciting culinary experience with the premiere of LUTONG BAHAY, a unique cooking show featuring four vibrant hosts: Mikee Quintos, Team Payaman’s Dudut, Chef Hazel, and Chef Ylyt. Set to air this coming Monday, October 28 at 5:45 PM, the show aims to combine the warmth of home-cooked meals with engaging storytelling.
Director of the show describes the hosts as having distinct flavors and personalities that will enrich the viewer experience. “Hazel brings the heartfelt tales of motherhood, Ylyt provides the technical expertise, Dudut adds comedy, and Mikee fosters collaboration,” he shared. “It’s a new approach to cooking shows that stands out.”
Mikee Quintos, known for her empathic nature, expresses her excitement about connecting with the audience through storytelling. “This show allows me to be myself,” she noted. “I want to humanize our guests. They are just like us, and it’s essential to bring out their stories while we cook together.”
Chef Hazel, who started her cooking journey at the tender age of eight, shared her gratitude for being part of LUTONG BAHAY. “Growing up around my grandmother’s kitchen instilled a passion for cooking in me. Now, I get to share my experiences alongside amazing guests—and I’m truly honored.”
Adding a light-hearted twist, Ylyt emphasizes the importance of making cooking accessible. “I want our show to be educational but also fun. We aim to teach valuable skills without taking things too seriously.”
Dudut, who is currently a home cook, admits to feeling nervous but eager to learn. “Cooking can be daunting, but I see this opportunity as a chance to grow while connecting with others,” he said.
As LUTONG BAHAY approaches its premiere, viewers can look forward to an afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and delicious recipes.
