Get Ready to “Sip and Sing” with Their Latest Heartfelt Single

This Valentine’s Day, the dynamic boy band Yes My Love, known as the Vocal Heartstoppers, is inviting fans to join them for a delightful “Coffee Date” with their brand-new single. They aim to capture the essence of romance and fun with a lighthearted take on modern courtship.

“Coffee Date” is simply about a guy attempting to court his crush through social media.

Three of Yes My Love’s members – Jeff Cabrera, Brian Zamora, and Joshua Adornado – composed the lyrics of the song.

The song may be titled “Coffee Date” but “coffee” is never mentioned in the lyrics. According to Brian, they thought it would be a fun idea to title it like that since most first dates do happen in coffee shops. He also added that there’s no deep, serious, or cryptic meaning to the song, they just intended to make a tune that’s relatable, lighthearted and fun to sing along to.

While Jeff expressed his gratitude in being able to co-write the song, Brian shared about the challenges of creative collaboration.

“Not gonna lie, collaborating is really hard and it’s a skill for me. A good collaborator knows how to make it work and knows how to reduce and pull back one’s energy. And trust the person you’re collaborating with so he can get the best out of you. For me that’s the experience I had with my brothers. They let me see my blind spots. The best thing about collaboration is that when your energy is not impeding on somebody else’s ego space, for sure they will bring out the best in you,” Brian said.

Joshua considers himself to be more of a mediator between Jeff and Brian’s ideas. He admits to enjoying the process of combining and working with their perspectives and ideas.

According to Jeff, the group wants their fans (the 143) to see their fun side through “Coffee Date.” With the song, they aim to create an anthemic vibe that will be captivating and fun whenever they get to perform the song live with their fans. 

Pop rock superstar Yeng Constantino served as a co-producer for the song – a crucial detail that may not come off as a surprise to some given the rock vibe and quality of the track.

“Ate Yeng was a complete dream to work with. She’s honest, genuine yet caring. As newbies in this industry, having someone of her caliber believe in us is such an amazing driving force for our careers. Ate Yeng in the studio is a complete professional yet she lets us embody our own song. She encourages us to always do what feels most genuine to us both as people and as artists. “Coffee Date” would’ve not come to fruition if it weren’t for Ate Yeng’s initiative to have this song in production and for that, YML will always be grateful,” Joshua said.

“Coffee Date” is mixed and mastered by Theo Martel Alpas and Timothy Recla, co-produced by Yeng Constantino, and released under Cornerstone Music.

Yes My Love is a 5-member Filipino boy group managed by Cornerstone Entertainment composed of Brian, Joshua, Jeff, RZ, and Niko. The group debuted back in March 2023 with the release of “Rhythm.”
