A Recap of the Stunning Live Acts from “Refrain” Featuring Talented Filipino Artists

The latest installment of the beloved Wish Date series, titled “Refrain,” brought a delightful twist! Stepping away from the heavier tones of previous episodes, “Refrain” embraced a lighter, more heartwarming vibe, filled with those sweet, kilig moments we all adore.
“Wish Date: Refrain” delivered an unforgettable blend of film and live music, bringing together heartwarming stories and soul-stirring performances.




The concert featured a captivating cast bringing the narrative to life, including the talented Kate Yalung, JC Alcantara, William Lorenzo, Robbie Packing, Tyrone Tan, and Eisel Serrano.

At the heart of the show was the indie band Letters From June, who took the stage multiple times, mesmerizing the audience with their heartfelt tracks. Their performances included powerful renditions of “Refrain” and “Friend of Mine,” reinforcing their status as one of the rising stars in the local music scene.
The versatile Nyoy Volante serenaded the crowd with his soul-stirring performances of “Close to You” and “More Than You’ll Ever Know.” The audience couldn’t help but sway along as his smooth vocals filled the arena.
Adding a fresh sound to the lineup, Over October lit up the stage with their infectious energy. Songs like “Kaaakit-Akit” and “Ikot” had concertgoers singing along, proving that this group is one to watch in the coming years!

Other standout performances included touching renditions of classic hits by Lani Misalucha, who graced the stage with her powerful voice through songs like “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me” and “Starting Over Again.” Meanwhile, Mark Carpio won hearts with “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal” and “Through the Years,” showing off his emotional range as an artist.
