The buzz is back in the air as multimedia artist and comedy icon Jon Santos steps back into the spotlight for a limited run of the hit play, BAWAT BONGGANG BAGAY (BBB). Presented by The Sandbox Collective’s new initiative, Sandbox Co.labs, in partnership with Ayala Land and Circuit Makati, this show promises to bring a blend of humor and heart, tackling themes of love, loss, and mental health head-on.

In celebration of Pride Month 2025, BBB makes its much-anticipated return after sold-out performances in 2023 and 2024, marking Santos’ fourth time showcasing this remarkable work. The play is a Filipino adaptation of Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe’s Every Brilliant Thing, brilliantly translated and directed by award-winning playwright Guelan Luarca.

BAWAT BONGGANG BAGAY is not just a play but an intimate, interactive experience. It tells the poignant story of a child growing up alongside a parent grappling with mental illness. By addressing these pressing issues, BBB works to create a safe space where audiences can engage and connect with the material, allowing everyone to become a vital part of the storytelling experience.

Returning as director is the talented Jenny Jamora, who has expertly helmed all previous runs of the show, even earning Outstanding Stage Direction for a Play at the 12th Gawad Buhay Awards. The production team is filled with creativity and expertise, including Marcel David (assistant director), Mark Dalacat (set designer), and many more talented individuals contributing to this incredible performance.
