New Heroes Rise: Meet the Cast of ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’

Exploring the Stellar Lineup of This Iconic Fantasy Saga

GMA Network is set to reignite the magic of the beloved fantasy saga with the much-anticipated return of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” premiering on June 16! This series continues a legacy of enchanting storytelling that has captivated audiences for two decades.

The show stars the talented Bianca Umali as Terra, the keeper of the Earth Gem. Raised in the human world as the daughter of Danaya and Theo, she embodies the superhero spirit under the name “Sang’gre.” As Terra’s destiny unfolds, she teams up with other elemental keepers: Flamarra, played by Faith da Silva, who guards the flame; Deia, played by Angel Guardian, the kind-hearted keeper of Air; and Diwang Adamus, portrayed by Kelvin Miranda, the keeper of Water from the land of Lireo.

The story explores the new generation of warriors defending their kingdom against a villainess hailing from Mine-ave—Mitena, the Ice Princess and Lireo’s new Hara, played by Rhian Ramos. With her powers rooted in revenge, audiences will see if the young keepers can triumph over her malice.

Returning to their iconic roles are Glaiza de Castro as Pirena, Kylie Padilla as Amihan, Sanya Lopez as Danaya, and Gabbi Garcia as Alena, further enriching the narrative with familiar characters.

The series expands its universe with characters from the human realm, including Manilyn Reynes, Ricky Davao, and Buboy Garovillo, among others, alongside a new kingdom, Mine-A-ve, where new faces like Gabby Eigenmann and Bianca Manalo join the adventure.

Directed by esteemed directors Rico Gutierrez and Enzo Williams, “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” promises a visually stunning experience with deeper themes about empowerment and the significance of family. The creative team comprises industry heavyweights, including National Artist Ricky Lee and veteran writer Suzette Doctolero.
