We all saw the pictures. The iconic Times Square in New York City lit up with Lola Amour’s album art. How epic is that?! It just goes to show how far their music has reached.

And on the official release day, August 15, they made history. The band became only the second OPM act ever to host a Spotify Listening Party. They gave us the inside scoop on every single track on the album while we listened along. To top it all off, they gave away concert tickets! Talk about fan love.

A Surprise Gig at Your School? Lola Amour Just Might Do That.

If you’ve been seeing Lola Amour pop up at random schools, you’re not seeing things! The band has been doing a series of surprise busking shows, giving students an unforgettable experience. They’ve already hit up NU Nazareth, PLM, UP Diliman, and PSHS, playing for hundreds of fans at each stop.

This is exactly what makes Lola Amour special. They’re not just playing huge venues; they’re going back to the places where their journey began, connecting directly with the students who have supported them from day one. I’ve heard they’re continuing these pop-up shows until the end of the month, so keep your eyes peeled!

The ‘Relapse Freedom Walls’ Are Our Vibe

But my favorite part of this whole rollout has to be the Relapse Freedom Walls. They’ve set up these interactive walls in key student areas, inviting us to write down our deepest feelings and confessions. You guys, the messages are so real and raw! I saw some of the posts, like “Bakit ka pa kumapit kung bibitawan ka lang?” and “Minumulto pa ako nung una ko siyang nakilala.” It’s a testament to how much we connect with the emotions of their song “With You.”
