Carmelle’s Secret Weapon: Voice, Resilience… and Holy Water?

Carmelle Collado’s journey is one of sheer grit. She started in amateur singing contests, became first runner-up in The Voice Kids (2019), and eventually championed Tawag ng Tanghalan School Showdown. Her voice and resilience are undeniable!

But she admitted that PBB is “very different” from the competitions she’s used to, as it will truly test “who you are as a person”. Like many of the housemates this season, she’s a naturally private person, making the 24/7 exposure a huge challenge.

Here’s the best part: Carmelle is leaning on her faith! She confessed that she’s bringing her “manang” (conservative) personality, along with a prayer bracelet, a necklace given by a priest, and yes, holy water. She even joked that she might use it to stop the housemates from fighting!. I am obsessed! She’s got her mind, her voice, and divine intervention on her side.

Marco Masa: The “Wonder Brother” Seeking a Detox from the Public Eye

Marco Masa, now 18, has literally grown up in front of the camera, starting as a commercial model at just four years old. He’s known for roles in Akusada and Outside.

For Marco, this isn’t just a career move; it’s a profound personal need. He views his time inside Kuya’s house as a “detox”. Having grown up in the public eye since he was three or four, the constant “pressure,” “expectations from people,” and constant work became “overwhelming”.

PBB is his opportunity to hit pause, to rest, and to “get to know myself better”. He believes this is “God’s timing” and is doing this to return all the support his family has given him since childhood. That’s a brave, honest motivation from a young star.
