A Bigger Bite for the Same Budget
We all know the struggle of rising prices, but Jollibee just did the unthinkable. They’ve upgraded the iconic Yumburger with a bigger beef patty and more of that signature dressing we crave—and the best part? It’s still only ₱45.
It’s the same Langhap-Sarap vibe we grew up with, just… more. It’s beefier, saucier, and honestly, exactly the kind of win we need on a hectic Tuesday afternoon.
The Great Nationwide Burger Takeover
Jollibee didn’t just announce the news; they threw a party at some of the busiest spots in the country. From Makati and Pampanga to Laguna, Cebu, and Davao, the energy was electric.
At each location, Jollibee gave away 2,000 free Yumburgers to lucky commuters. That’s a lot of happy faces at:
• One Ayala (Makati)
• The Infinity (Pampanga)
• Paseo de Santa Rosa (Laguna)
• Parkmall (Cebu)
• Rizal Park (Davao)
Beyond the free burgers, they handed out 4,000 vouchers for exclusive store combos. Because let’s face it, one Yumburger is never enough.
More Than Just a “Snack”
As Dorothy Ching, Jollibee’s VP for Marketing, put it, the Yumburger is basically a part of our DNA as Filipinos. It’s the “comfort food” we grab after a long day of classes or that quick lunch between meetings. This “glow-up” is their way of giving back more of what we love without making our wallets cry.
Even the Yum Mascot made an appearance, turning a regular commute into a full-on photoshoot and dance party. You can’t help but smile when the Bee is in the house!
Show Off Your #GlowUpYUM
Jollibee also dropped a new film showcasing the upgraded burger (check it out on their pages!). They’re even looking for the best fan reactions. If you’ve tried the new version, post your photo or video with the hashtag #GlowUpYUM. Who knows? You might just get featured on their official channels!
The Verdict: In a world where everything seems to be getting smaller or more expensive, a bigger, tastier burger for ₱45 is the hero we didn’t know we needed.
Have you tried the upgraded Yumburger yet? Can you actually taste the difference in the patty? Let me know in the comments—I’m heading to the drive-thru right now!
