Celebrating Love, Purpose, and Sisterhood at the Mall of Asia Arena

In a dazzling display of poise and purpose, Ma. Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on May 2, 2025, during a magnificent coronation night that took place at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena. This year’s theme, “Love Above All,” encapsulated the essence of the celebration by honoring the beauty, love, and strength evident in each of the delegates.

The coronation night not only showcased stunning gowns and radiant smiles but also celebrated qualities that transcend mere physical beauty. Building on the previous year’s emphasis on kindness, the event was a vibrant homage to the diverse forms of love that connect us all.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization invited reigning Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, along with the Continental Queens: Chelsea Manalo (Miss Universe Asia), Chidimma Adetshina (Miss Universe Africa & Oceania), Matilda Wirtavuori (Miss Universe Europe & Middle East), and Tatiana Calmell (Miss Universe Americas). The evening kicked off with these queens, alongside this year’s contestants, performing a lively remix of the classic 1994 “Mabuhay” song, encapsulating the spirit of camaraderie.

The event was skillfully hosted by Gabbi Garcia, Xian Lim, Erika Kristensen-Lee, and Tim Yap, who brought charisma and excitement to the stage. Audiences were treated to mesmerizing performances by popular artists including James Reid, Marlo Mortel, Alvaro Andres, Kane Gabriel, and Sam Hashimoto, adding an electrifying energy to the festivities.

Highlighting its commitment to empowering tourism, the Miss Universe Philippines organization showcased its partnership with Northern Samar as the Official Provincial Partner, emphasizing the province’s rich culture and stunning destinations.
