You’re Invited to Christmas Past, Present, and Future!

The magic of Charles Dickens’ timeless tale is coming to life with a cast full of OPM legends, stage veterans, and rising stars. This is the holiday theater event we’ve been waiting for!

Taking on the monumental task of playing the notoriously cranky Ebenezer Scrooge is the incredibly talented veteran actor Arnel Carrion. Arnel’s voice is iconic, and his stage presence is formidable (you might have recently seen him in Liwanag Sa Dilim Musical). We absolutely cannot wait to watch his transformation from a cold-hearted miser to a man full of holiday cheer!

And, of course, the heart of the story, the symbolic figure of hope, Tiny Tim, will be sweetly shared by child stars Enzo Dognidon and Jethro Ting. Bring tissues, people!

A Christmas Carol is nothing without its spectral guides, and this lineup is giving us chills (the good kind!):

  • Ghost of Christmas Past: Reprising the role is the multi-awarded actor, singer, and writer Franco Laurel.
  • Ghost of Christmas Present: Veteran international performer Lorenz Martinez steps into this jolly, larger-than-life role.
  • Ghost of Christmas Yet To Be: Get ready to be mystified by the talented ballet and jazz dancer Carmelle Ros.
  • Jacob Marley: Rounding out the iconic ghosts is Boo Gabunada, whose presence is sure to rattle some chains!

The rest of the cast is a perfect mix of familiar faces stepping back onto the stage and new talents ready to shine:

  • Young Ebenezer: Star Magic’s own and rising theater talent CJ Navato takes on the younger version of Scrooge.
  • Emily: Playing the lovely Emily is Viva artist and Gawad Buhay awardee Nicole Omillo.
  • Bob Cratchit: Multi-award-winning performer John Joven Uy takes on the kind-hearted family man.
  • Mrs. Cratchit: We’re thrilled to welcome back Anna Santamaria for her theater comeback in this emotional role!

The rest of the ensemble is filled with brilliant artists, educators, and familiar faces making their much-awaited return to the stage, including Mariella Laurel as Mrs. Mops, Richardson Yadao (from The Bodyguard The Musical) as Mr. Smythe, and the always-impressive Neo Rivera as Fred. Even former Opera Belle Rica Laguarda and the amazing ‘Doctor by day’ Gary Junsay are joining the magic!

This isn’t just a talented cast—it’s a world-class production helmed by a powerhouse artistic team, including director Robbie Guevara, musical director Daniel Bartolome, and scenographer Mio Infante. They are the geniuses ensuring that every single detail, from the lights to the costumes, transports us straight to Victorian London.

Forget your shopping list for a moment, because you need to prioritize these dates!
