However, her life spirals when an effort to help a friend plunges her into the dark world of gambling addiction. Deep in debt and on the brink of losing everything, she is abducted by Cha Dong-cheol (played by Han Jae-seok), the ruthless kingpin of a massive Korean criminal syndicate operating in the country.
