
The Filipino Music Awards 2026 wrapped up with an extraordinary showcase honoring the vibrant diversity and global momentum of Pinoy music. From rising trailblazers to seasoned legends, the ceremony spotlighted the creative brilliance defining contemporary Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Fans and industry leaders gathered to recognize both chart-topping anthems and deeply rooted artistic expressions.
The Grand Awards brought well-earned triumphs for the nation’s biggest acts. Pop sensation BINI cemented their dominance by taking home Artist of the Year along with Tour of the Year for their international run, while Maki earned Album of the Year for KOLORCOASTER. Meanwhile, Skusta Clee and Flow G’s hard-hitting collaboration, “Since Day One,” earned the prestigious Song of the Year honor, alongside Breakthrough Artist recognition for fitterkarma.
SB19 proved the sheer power of their dedicated fanbase by sweeping the major People’s Choice categories, including People’s Choice Artist and Song for “VISA.” Their landmark show, “Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale,” was also crowned Concert of the Year. Global phenomenon BTS rounded out the fan-voted honors by capturing People’s Choice for International Artist.
The genre categories highlighted the incredible breadth of the local landscape, celebrating both dynamic reinventions and raw musical energy. Standout wins went to Ben&Ben’s reworked folk anthem “Lifetime (Reimagined),” IV OF SPADES’ alternative hit “Kabisado,” and Typecast’s heavy rock offering. Soulful R&B saw shared glory between Denise Julia’s “LOVE AGAIN” and ALAMAT’s “Sinigang,” while VVINK, DJ Love, and Pio Balbuena secured Pop Song of the Year with “Baduy.”
A deeply moving portion of the ceremony honored the cultural cornerstones that built OPM into today’s powerhouse. Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez received the Lifetime Achievement Award, while the late Francis Magalona was commemorated with a heartfelt Tribute Award. ABS-CBN took home Music Company of the Year, and the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) was rightly celebrated with the Music Foundation Award for its enduring championing of local talent.
