Manila’s iconic Quirino Grandstand was transformed into a massive, high-energy hub of fitness and entertainment as Sparkle GMA Artist Center made history with its first-ever Sparkle Run! From the break of dawn, thousands of passionate runners, dedicated fans, and fitness enthusiasts gathered to run alongside their favorite celebrities. The landmark event quickly became the talk of the town, with the official hashtag #SparkleRun2026 shooting straight to the No. 1 trending spot across social media as timelines flooded with finish-line victories and star-studded highlights.

The massive event boasted an incredible turnout of the country’s biggest Kapuso stars, including Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Gabbi Garcia, Ai Ai Delas Alas, Pokwang, Max Collins, and Dingdong Dantes. Adding even more excitement to the tracks were Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition ex-housemates Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, Josh Ford, and Charlie Fleming, who ran alongside hundreds of other Kapuso artists in the 3K, 5K, 6.6K, 10K, and 16K race categories.

The friendly competition heated up as participants eyed the finish line, leading to the crowning of the event’s Top Celebrity Finishers. Taking home the top honors for their respective categories were Clifford for the 3K, Royce Cabrera for the 5K, Ashley Rivera for the 6.6K, David Licauco for the 10K, and Martin Javier dominating the 16K run.

Off the race track, the excitement continued at the lively race village with show-stopping live performances from Garrett Bolden & Accento Band, Paul Salas, Dollipop, Vianna Ricafranca, and Cloud 7. Attendees were treated to interactive sponsor booth activations, non-stop games, and highly talked-about, overflowing loot bags. The event also featured an epic raffle draw with premium prizes up for grabs, including high-tech Xiaomi gadgets, a Dyson Wash G1, a 55-inch Smartboard Lite display, luxury hotel stays, and the ultimate grand prize: a 13-inch MacBook Air.

The electric energy was kept alive all day by hosts Martin Javier, Hannah Arguelles, Yza Uy, and Betong Sumaya, with Sparkle’s First Vice President, Ms. Joy Marcelo, lending her support to mark the milestone.
